Hrvatski Dom Bosna was founded in 1974 by Croatian immigrants who had settled in Western Sydney and wanted a welcoming place to preserve their culture, language, and traditions far from home. From its beginnings as a small social hub, Bosna quickly became one of the key gathering places for Sydney’s Croatian community, welcoming families from all walks of life and generations.

Over the decades, Bosna has grown into much more than a club - it is a cultural home where the spirit of Croatia is kept alive through music, food, sport, and celebration. The club has long been associated with community activities such as the Werrington Croatia Soccer Club and the Bosna Old Boys Bocce Club, offering opportunities for sport, friendship, and friendly competition in a distinctly Croatian environment.

Bosna is also known for hosting a rich calendar of events that bring the Croatian community together, from annual classic car shows celebrating Croatian automotive culture to festive Christmas gatherings filled with music, dancing, and shared tradition.

More than 40 years since its establishment, Hrvatski Dom Bosna remains a beloved institution - a place of reunion, joy, and cultural pride where old traditions are honoured and new memories are created.
